EOS® CLOSED LOOP MODEL
For a modern circular economy
RECYCLING & RE-USE OF TRANSFORMER OIL –
TOGETHER FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
Energy suppliers as well as large and small energy consumers recognise transformer oil as a resource worth recycling.
That's why Electrical Oil Services collects used insulating oil, recycles it and returns it to the cycle in like-new condition.
We call this reuse on a sustainable basis the EOS® Closed Loop Model. Electrical Oil Services offers the Closed Loop model already successfully in Europe. Based on this model, we have developed the regenerated insulating oil EOS® Premium, which fully complies with the requirements of the international standard IEC 60296:2020 for mineral insulating oils for electrical equipment. EOS® Premium is your high-quality recycled transformer oil. |
BENEFIT FROM THE EOS® CLOSED LOOP MODEL
The EOS® Closed Loop model is an excellent recycling solution. Once recycled, customers will receive a premium product in as-new quality - fully compliant to IEC 60296:2020.
Be part of the cirular economy and reduce your dependence on oil imports and corresponding price fluctuations with the EOS® Closed Loop solution:
Leverage cost advantages versus an oil replacement and enjoy an enhanced pricing stability.
Benefit from our supply security through the use of existing inventory and local resources.
Retain and re-use precious natural resources and contribute to a sustainable energy supply.

HOW TO REDUCE YOUR CO2 FOOTPRINT
AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Transformers ensure that the power generated is fed into the power grid with the proper voltage. To be able to perform this task it is important to maintain the high quality of the insulating oil used. In service, however, mineral oil degrades due to the conditions of use. The inhibitors become depleted and the measured acidity in the oil begins to increase. Electrical Oil Services reprocesses your used transformer oil to as-new quality by removing ageing products such as peroxides, acids, DBDS and sludge from the insulating oil. This process can be completed mobile or stationary:
The mobile process takes place at the transformer site. It also goes one step further than pure oil replacement, because mobile oil regeneration treats the entire insulation system of your transformers, including the paper insulation. This is also possible during under-load operation.
Your used transformer oil is collected by us and regenerated in one of our Electrical Oil Services production plants.
The recycled insulating oil EOS Premium provides many benefits to the user and the environment.
